You can help us by organising a fundraising event and making your own page on our Just Giving to watch your sponsorship grow, attending one of our events or directly sponsoring. We have run a variety of events including a full Burns Night Supper, Wine Tasting, a garden party our annual Music Festival, a now biannual 27-hour musicathon, and other sponsored events. Individuals have raised money by being sponsored, running a cake stand, making and selling pizzas, and running a wildlife day.
Many people have chosen to work at Shree Krishna School and other schools in the area whilst enjoying a holiday in Nepal. Some of the projects undertaken have been painting and decorating, nursery training, mask making and photography, setting up a school library, teaching in the nurseries and taking English lessons throughout the school.
We are fortunate that our home grown barn dance band ‘Jacobs Creek’ donates their booking fee to the charity.
Thanks to John Little and Fiona Crummay for allowing us to use their amazing garden, we have raised a staggering £2456.33 for the earthquake appeal.
Year 1 children at Woodside Academy had a cake sale for an orphan hostel in Gorkha Nepal and raised £218 for them to have sports equipment.
Chris set up a fundraising event on our Just Giving page, then gigged around Essex and beyond raising money for Earthquake victims.
